For those of you who haven't heard the news, Google announced an overhaul of Blogger yesterday. It seems 2011 will bring new and hopefully better ideas to our Blogger Blogs. Google has announced The dashboard interface has been redesigned to be more modern and user-friendly, giving easy access to statistics, layout editing and useful features for writing new blog posts. Also, we will see a new post editor. YAY!
Google has also released a content discovery tool, which determines the content of the Blogger page you’re reading and suggests related material you might also enjoy. Looking good!
You can check out Blogger’s promotional video to see examples of some of the new features in action.
Shadowhouse Creations focuses on giving away free textures, brushes, overlays, and tips to designers, photographers, and the hobbyist.

Great. Thanks for sharing that info. I love writing a blog. Even if no one ever reads it, it is still so satisfying.....funny how that works!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness! Blogger really needed an update. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear the blogger thief removed the page--or had it removed for them. Now to get the whole blog outta there!
As always thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteSounds great! I'm also glad to hear that things are getting resolved as far as your works being stolen. It was very upsetting to hear that someone did that to you. Your work is amazing and you deserve credit for all that you do. (I tried to comment last night on your post but it wouldn't let me.)
ReplyDeleteNeat! Thanks for the heads up, hadn't heard anything about this! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteJerry,
ReplyDeleteyou do not know me but I have been an admirer for quite awhile. you have taught me so much over the past several years as I spent hours going thru your appreciated tutorials. you were the only one I knew that made perfect sense on how to achieve what I knew could be done. Might of take me awhile, but with your beautiful textures and tutorials, I am getting there.
I was heartsick reading what I read this morning.....about Far Far Hill. Not knowing what do to about it in order to help, I decided to post about it on my blog, soapbox version...but long long long. HAHA! not much but i so appreciate all you do for us....and could not let it go. What they are doing is wrong and I admit it made me mad as hell. So.....I posted. Hope it helps get the word out. You can read it on my blog.....traffic does not go by much as I am seriously small time.
Have a wonderful day Jerry. And again, I am so sorry this happened to you, truly hope it helps you out even a little bit.

ReplyDeleteLove your textures, btw! Thanks for that, too!!! =)
Loved the video! Thanks for sharing the link!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your generosity and the heads up, Jerry! I'm so behind checkin' on stuff ...
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry,
ReplyDeleteI cannot find this answer anywhere, so hopefully you will see this comment and be able to answer the question.
I am starting my first blog--for my high schools reunion.
Will I be able to make changes to the pages after theya re published, as I can do on a regular website? Such as, we are asking for photos and bios, they will need to be updated on the pages as we receive them.
Thank you for all your wonderful work, I am a true follower.
